Magnetic moment is an important parameter describing the strength of permanent magnet materials.

The direction of the magnetic moment of the magnet is from the guide pole of the magnet to the north pole, and the magnitude of the magnetic moment depends on the magnetism and magnitude of the magnet.

Knowing the size and remanence of sintered NdFeB, how to calculate the magnetic moment and flux?

 

1. First, test the material properties of the magnet with a magnetic performance tester, and get the required parameters: Br, Bd, Hd.


2. According to the formula to calculate Pc and Bdi, Pc=Bd/Hd, Bdi=Br*(PC+1)/(μrec+PC).


3. Calculate the volume(V) of the magnet based on the shape and size.


4. According to the formula magnetic moment M=Bdi*V, calculate the magnetic moment of the magnet.


5. According to the formula magnetic moment M=K* Ф, the magnetic flux Ф can be simulated under the condition of determining the coil constant k.
