Under normal conditions of handling, shipping, assembly and service,Vector magnets Technologies acceptance criteria allows imperfections such asminor hairline cracks, porosity, voids, cold loose chips or particles.Additionally, the condition of flow, shrinkage, pipe and other surfaceanomalies of the type commonly found in cast or sintered magnets shall bejudged acceptable if the following conditions are met:

1. The magnet meets the minimummagnetic performance criteria agreed upon.

2. The imperfections do not createloose particles or other conditions which will interfere with proper functioningof the end use device.
